Matt is an executive advisor for the Life Sciences investment team at Foresite where he focuses on investment opportunities transformational tools and diagnostics companies as well as supporting existing portfolio companies.
Before coming to Foresite, Matt was the Chief Business Officer at Quantum-Si where he helped grow the company from 10 to 100+ employees, led product strategy, and helped raise over $500M as both a private company and part of an IPO. Prior to Quantum-Si, Matt held various roles supporting a number of companies that across the 4Catalyzer incubator (Buttefly Newtork, Hyperfine, Detect, and AI Therapeutics). Matt started in the industry holding various roles at Life Technologies working on NGS platforms (SOLiD, Ion Torrent). Matt enjoys working at the intersection of technology and business and is listed as an inventor on over 35 patents. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and participating in endurance races.
